I totally agree. Problem is, the market is different today. WAF is huge - families need to be thought of. The rich “oh my back” boomers and “need 2 acres in the back for kids” families dictate buying trends, and they want high SUVs...but not too SUV like because they want to still pretend they have a car!

it is an SUV that has had all its SUV-ness engineered out so it is a slightly taller heavier super sedan. Shouldn’t be surprised.

best coast is Amalfi Coast - drove from Rome to Salerno, to Capri, to Pompeii, and back to Rome in an Abarth 500. Epic does not even come close.
