I need a $5k winter car for Ontario, Canada. I currently have a high mileage 9-3 2.0T that really impressed in the snow and ice, so I am looking at loaded 9-5 Aeros that are really cheap, lots of car for the money. Any alternatives I should be looking at? I do not like Japanese cars.

I do not care one bit if it doesn’t have a manual.

Bolt on fender flares = automatic CP.

The entire auto industry is quickly doing a “lemmings” right off the cliff. The bottom will fall out on CUVs, and when people want something different the automakers will be “...but we have 245 different CUVs for you, and 4 door lifted sport activity coupes etc.” All the automakers are racing to all make the exact

Agreed 100%

No. Let it die if it cannot be sold anymore. Audi, you already have sold your soul and no longer offer a manual in your sport sedans or roadsters or sports cars...don’t ruin it more with a “4 door coupe” TT rebranding that nobody will welcome.

BMW isn’t for drivers anymore, it is for people who want to pretend to be drivers, and brag about it to their friends at the golf course.

It better have over 600hp, as a family baby stroller (SUV) has over 600hp these days. Also, it weighs as much as an SUV, so it actually needs more power than that to even begin to earn the ///M moniker.

All the easier to hunt us down and kill us when Skynet (ie Google, Amazon and Tesla - which one day will be one super-company) takes over and runs us all over with these AI controlled cars.

hahahaha

why is this not on “meh car monday”? I also totally forgot this thing existed. It could be a perfect piece on irony, for it is totally meh from yesteryear, but it ALSO is exactly what the market finds desirable and trendy today.

Now if there ever was a vehicle that would take unintended acceleration to a whole new level, it is a 700hp Jeep. The Camrys that did it, hit a wall or something...the Jeep would take out a city block before it stopped.

have I been a bad boy or something? Why am I greyed out all of a sudden?

What will happen? Supposed purists will scoff at the price, and some may look hard at whether it really is at the level of the competition in that price range....but Corvette will sell every last one they make.

No manual? GTFO.

What? 07s are a lot, lot cheaper than $40k.

Maser QPs dont need a lot of wrenching, they are reliable as long as you do not get the F1 gearbox - 2007 or later and they are pleasant cars to own.

Maseratis actually are very reliable. IF you get one without the idiotic F1 gearbox. With the QP, get a 2007 or later and it is as reliable as a Buick - that is from my Maserati tech.

yep - 2007 and later or bust

get a 2007 or newer and be happy, no worries then
