@jinushaun: agreed. Whoever designed the USB port spec should be jailed. No cable should require a user to look at both the male and female plugs to try and determine orientations.

@yiff: If printer manufacturers can do it, I don't see why cell phone manufacturers can't.

Is there any good way to make the home/end keys work properly (i.e. begining/end of LINE, not DOCUMENT)? There was some config file tweak I found a while ago, but it hardly worked for everything.

@diasdiem: Hahaha - I've never heard that before, but I'm sure it's a very accurate description for a lot of people. I do a lot of scientific data analysis/code development, and I just find it an easier platform to do those sorts of things on.
