The crazy thing it’s it’s not even Nintendo who’s job it is to address and implement these patches. They really should just acknowledge them to light a fire under gamefreak’s ass. Nothing would do that better than your biggest moneymaker calling you out for being lazy/sloppy.

It would still sell like nearly just as many copies with or without the competitive scene. And they would stay alive as long as nintendo kept releasing new fighters.
