I highly doubt they're paying them that much. AT&T supposedly pays Apple $450 for each phone, which would give Apple full price for each iPhone they sell, and no doubt they get more from the carriers for each iPhone than any other phone.

The 7.0 is nice. $50 more than a Kindle Fire for ICS now, Play Store, 4x the storage, double the RAM, microSD card slot, and cameras. Well worth it to me.
