Yes! I never could get behind Martinet’s falsetto. Mario just seemed like a gruff Italian American guy, Captain Lou will always be the voice for me.

It’s a purely commercial enterprise, crafted to sell people stupid shit they don’t need. The project is furthered by also giving people large doses of melodrama, some titillation and what would be viewed as righteous anger and justified violence. It’s a perfect American product, with all of the traditional ideologies

The reason folks are upset with him is because he allegedly continues to support an organization that appears to support the oppression of anyone not “straight”.

Well that was excellent !

I still think having Obi-Wan and Vader confront each other on the show was a mistake. The one convincing argument I read is that in ANH, Vader says, “When I left you…” and in ROTS, Obi-Wan is the one who leaves him limbless by the side of the lava river. And in Episode 5, we see Kenobi out-wit Vader by exploiting his

I felt the same way about that comment. NWH was good in that it was a non stop nostalgia fest, but saying it’s the best behind NWH and Shang Chi just kinda shows how middling “Phase 4" has been.

In like 300 years when AI sentience is legally recognised, Star Wars is going to be like the “Birth of a Nation” of horrifying AI mistreatment.

Exactly. Prior to Nepal, Indy’s talk with Marcus where he’s morose over Belloq taking the idol... nails down so much of Indy’s character and background. It’s the seed for the later scenes at Tanis, and later on the submarine because he knows he lost in the jungle but will go further for something as important as the

I think it was less something she had in the OT and more a symbol of her learning to fight and take care of herself.

There you see, now that is a valid critique. You didn’t just dissed the show, you gave constructive criticism: addressed a weak point and explained why it did not work for you, giving the producers something to fix for a Season 2 or future series rather than just ridiculously question the reason for it’s existence

I liked the show.

That being said, you’re not wrong. It wouldn’t eat up too much budget to throw in a few dialogue scenes, and fans would be happier if each episode was an hour long.

It would have been such a better show if they just zoomed into the Obi Wan - Vader relationship. Not to say there weren’t highlights elsewhere, but almost all of the high notes from this show are because we’ve seen other Star Wars that reinforces what’s happening.

You nailed it.

That’s the understandably cynical view, and exactly what any producer would say, selling a movie is kind of their job, and I’m not even remotely saying it’ll be good, but it is written/directed by James Mangold...who has a very good track record. Again, not saying it’ll be good, we don’t need another Indy and I don’t

THANK you... I don’t feel so alone anymore. I thought t was just me feeling things were just jumbly and haphazard and choppy... and it’s because there weren’t any moments of levity, of just, taking a breath, lol. I remember coming out of Casino Royale just hearing the words come out of my mouth and jokingly swearing

But if he never got that model the Death Star would never had been blown up. He never would have gotten an actual T-16, never became a pilot, never shot wamp rats. It’s such shortsightedness like this that makes me question if your a real fan.

I can’t wait for the 5 issue limited comic series that focuses on her finger-less gloves.

I mean, Mangold got me back into Wolverine after X-Men Origins. That’s practically proof he’s got superpowers.

Naw, his means of support is just a Jedi Mind Trick at the Hutt Bank of Mos Eisley.
