It’s like my words coming out of your mouth.

This article tells us what happens when women have abortions that late. This is why late-term abortion needs to remain legal. Women are not deciding on a whim to have abortions at 32 weeks. It is done for medical reasons.

I distinctly remember them play Tonight Tonight in 1996 at the MTV video music awards and it’s probably one of the clearest and earliest defining music memories I have. I just remember being memorized by it. I can’t believe it’s been 20 fucking years.

Makes me so mad finding out a cute dress is actually a surprise romper. Apt metaphor is apt.

There is a group of women in Europe who are now using drones to deliver abortion pills from the border of Germany with Poland (which doesn't have abortion).

I had to play by their rules to get the crown... But after I won, they could play by mine.

My husband says the same. In his words: If men were told by the GOP that they would be forced to have a tapeworm in their bodies for 9 months and that tapeworm would do “whatever” to their body during that time, from making them throw up from just a sip of water to hospitalizing them with life threatening illness, to

My BFF’s idiot ex husband took this further, he threw away his 16 year old daughters birth control because if she was going to have sex she was going to deal with the consequences. How is that for the stupidest fing thing you’ve ever heard? He of course is an evangelical douche bag, and of course she got pregnant,

Please PLEASE someone explain to me how forcing pregnant women to endure dangerous infections and painful miscarriages is pro-LIFE??? Because it sounds more like medieval torture.

I can’t be the only one who thought of Savita Halappanavar when I read this. I know her case was in Ireland, not the U.S., but it’s the sort of fercockta cruelty on the part of the Catholic Church that doesn’t care if a pregnancy isn’t viable or if a woman dies because of it.

Thank you so much for sharing your story.

All of your feelings are valid.

Getting pregnant is not "stomping" on your co workers, that's insane. You mention multiple times you don't know the details of her pregnancy (maybe this was her last chance? maybe it was an accident?) so who the hell are you to judge her? You also mention that she has been working along with the rest of you to get

If you really believe that women should plan their pregnancies around work projects, you should rethink your priorities. That's just wrong.

It made things really difficult for about 50+ people because the guy who was covering while she was out was both not as good at it as she was and still expected to do his normal job, and there was literally no one else to do it.

The lesson isn't to just show up. The lesson is to be patient. The lesson is to be flexible. The lesson is to not give up when your friend is going through a MASSIVE life change. Terrific friends don't just give up.

You're kidding me! Fuck those people. Jesus. No one can ever win. If you go through IVF etc, they say, "that is so selfish, why didn't you just adopt? That is what you should do." It blows my mind (although sort of doesn't surprise me, I guess) that there are people who judge those same people when they adopt instead

I roll my eyes at the "perfect angel" type of comments, too, but that doesn't mean I can't be friends with people who have given birth. In fact, that's when they need normal, adult conversation more than ever (even if they can't really hold up their end very well).

The caffeine policing is so horrible because ACOG says you can have up to 200mg of caffeine a day with no ill effects. That's like 4 sodas, or a couple of cups of coffee (depending how strong/large you like 'em) A sweet tea every day is COMPLETELY FINE.

Now granted, if you don't personally feel comfortable drinking

I don't get people who feel it's their place to say things like that to a pregnant woman. According to today's "common knowledge" both my sister and I should be drooling, malformed, sub-moron trolls because our mother smoked, drank coffee and had the occasional glass of wine while pregnant.
