Using that same logic I don’t see how it’s this guys fault the airline overbooked. He was a paying customer who had every right to be on that flight. United was unequivocally wrong in this situation.

Even when they are cheaper I still refuse to fly with them. For domestic flights I fly either Southwest or Alaska every time. I know most people do go for the cheaper flight but it hardly seems worth it.
