@Charlie Jane Anders: God help me... so do I (weeps quietly in the corner).

My God, woman.... what unholy impulse keeps driving you to dig these nightmares up, & why do you take such perverse pleasure in foisting them off on your readers?
@FERNO: My favorite actress could be involved in a show featuring my favorite super hero, & I would neither support, view or defend it if I thought that show was going to be terrible. Being a fan of any particular genre, or performer, does not obligate one to support it, or them, unconditionally. I watch the show's…
Step aside, Chester! There's a new Cheeto's spokesman in town.
The Hulk should fight that robot in the next Hulk movie.
@storymark: You're trying to paint me as feeling far more strongly about this than I do. I merely made an observation. Time will tell if it was the correct one or not. As I have no interest in viewing "The Cape", I really don't care what happens to it.
@storymark: Oh, it absolutely occurred to me that this was a shameless grab for attention, of the kind that smacks of the network having no confidence in a series that hasn't even made it out of the starting gate.
What, she couldn't spring for color?
So, The Cape is already starved for creative ideas for it's characters, & is turning to it's audience for assistance. What's the fastest a show has ever been cancelled?
@Hamslicer: You could land small aircraft on those.
@Lassus: The first one that springs to mind is Batman. Jack Nicholson's performance as the Joker keeps one's mind off the logic leaps & gaping plot holes in the script..... at least as long as the movie is running.
@collex: It's "The Warrior's Code" by the Celtic Punk band, The Dropkick Murphys.
@Mark 2000: In this you're not wrong, but I still contend that no one deserves to share a sentence with Thomas Kinkade, let alone a comparison. Ross paints a pretty cover. He's not so great with the sequential art, though he's obviously aware of that. That Justice series was drawn by someone else & then painted by…
I'm calling it now. Michelle Rodriguez will die in Battle Los Angeles. I'm also of the opinion that a little script polishing is hardly the key factor to whether or not Captain America is a good movie or not. I've seen plenty of films where directors, cinematographers & actors were able to elevate a film past a weak…
@Mark 2000: Too harsh. No artist should ever be compared... or considered to be comparable to.. Thomas Kinkade. That guy's entire body of work should be sealed in canisters of radioactive waste & left to rot for eternity.
Give it up, NBC. I'm never watching this show. I don't care how many favored artists you get to draw your character.
I'd say that any move that allows the fan base to feel like they're being acknowledged, if not actually listened to, can't be but so bad.
Well.... it's not like anything else of any note is opening up this weekend.
