The only explanation that actually makes sense to me is that Arya was playing Littlefinger without letting her sister in on it. Sansa only put it together when LF made her play the “worst possible motive” game. I thought I saw a flicker of understanding when Sansa finally arrived at the motive for Arya’s behavior

He’s one of my favorite characters, I’d be so upset if they just took him out like that.

Tormund and Brienne fuqwatch 2018

So as another Theon fan I disagree. I don’t think Theon’s plot was that he couldn’t be both, it was that he felt like he couldn’t be both. I think the fight on the beach was him realizing that he is both a Stark and Greyjoy, and that’s okay, he doesn’t have to choose.

Brienne doesn’t get that Tormund actually thinks she’s attractive. She’s spent her entire life in a culture full of people telling her she’s horribly ugly/not pretty/undesirable/etc, and where the only people showing any interest at all were almost certainly faking it in order to play cruel jokes on her. So she’s

I thought it might have been the same actor just smiling like a human being...

As a Theon fan I hated Jon being all “you’re both” since Theon’s WHOLE PLOT was that he couldn’t be both, had to choose and (in viewers/readers eyes and his own) chose wrong. So yeah, now that almost everyone’s dead Jon going “but you’re a Greyjoy and a Stark” rings really hollow. There was no option to be both and

I HATE how they’ve been saying that they built this dramatic tension that makes you think that one or both of the Stark girls might try to kill the other. Umm, no sirs, you didn’t. You contrived drama for drama’s sake, engaged in some character assassination for an episode or two, and somehow think no one saw

SHE JUST DOESNT KNOW SHE WANTS TO YET!!!

While Sansa and Arya were playing Littlefinger, B&W were playing themselves by not letting the audience in on the plot.

I think that was more about Theon being able to be a Stark AND a Greyjoy. Like, you can be honorable AND beat someone to death on a beach. Which will set up Jon figuring out how to accept being a Stark AND a Targaryan next season. I’m just glad he’s going back for Yara.

HE BETTER FUCKING BE. Same with Beric Dondarrion! I like those 2 guys a lot.

Alive, no question about it!

I think the GOT death rule is that nobody’s dead until you see them die, and even not then. Light a candle for my ginger prince, tho. He needs to make those giant babies with Brienne!

I just have one question: IS TORMUND FUCKING GIANTSBANE ALIVE?!?!?! I NEED TO KNOW. NOTHING MATTERS TO ME AS MUCH AS THAT RIGHT NOW

That was the most unanticipated boning by two of the most pouty milquetoast characters on this show. I nearly fell asleep. That might just be me though.

I guess Sansa and Arya were playing a long con to trip up Littlefinger...somehow, for some reason.

“You stand accused of murder. You stand accused of treason. How do you answer these charges ... Lord Baelish?”

It’s a little upsetting Euron is still fighting with Cersei, my 2nd favorite moment from the episode was his ‘Fvck this shit! Peace Out’ moment. At least I’ll always have Littlefinger on the verge of tears when realizing that he wasn’t slippery enough to worm his way out of that one.

I’m so happy that Baelish is dead, but I still don’t understand what happened in the previous episodes that lead up to this. I wish they just showed us Bran telling his sisters about the truth. I just feel cheated in that moment. All that for a cheap plot twist. I have to say I loved that heartwarming scene at the end
