I use to hate the constant thanking and stuff as well. I knew alot of people who appreciated the gesture but it only made me feel awkward.

Ironically, the military (at least while I was in) made great effort in providing training on sexual harassment and assault. It’s disappointing to see the message is not getting across and more so that fellow service members are the victims.
