Yeah, that karaoke sequence in episode 4 is pretty dope.

The karaoke scene is pretty dope.

At the rate I'm going, I'll be done with this show sometime tomorrow. Enjoying it, mostly. I want a Van Damme.

V for Vendetta wasn't bad, and as far as adaptations go, pretty good. It preserved the important through-points of the source material, which was as much an update on V as V was for 1984.

A couple in, and I'm rather enjoying it. Run Lola Run by way of Baraka/Samsara and the low-brow pulp poetry of Wachowskis/Stracyznski. I'll definitely finish this weekend.

Yeah, while I think it misses a good deal of the marks, the way in which it glances by, and takes some strange and unexpected detours kept me interested in what I was seeing.

From what I gather it was a different technique for shooting the flight/boots practical/pre-viz. They've been pretty cagey but I remember several articles mentioning it.

While I fully recognize it's a bad movie, it's a bad movie I can still give myself over to. From what I understand, it was a frustrating film for the cast and crew because their 'revolutionary new special effect' wasn't working during the shoot after lots of trial and error.

I made it through the first episode and realized I'd made a mistake.

Yeah, Second Renaissance was great stuff, and I read all their online comics that contained much of it, back in the early intertubes days. Good stuff, and great Geoff Darrow work.

I've genuinely liked all of the Wachowski's output. I really only ever loved The Matrix & Speed Racer. Bound sits firmly in the middle of their work. I think Cloud Atlas is their most dynamic and frustrating film, as I'd probably rather have it even more languid and Netflix mini-series-esque. Jupiter Ascending felt

As far as digital Bball drama, it'll be hard to top Barkley Shut Up & Jam Gaiden. If Spike was hip, he'd be trying to cozy up to Barkley 2: The Magickal Realms of Tir na Nog: Escape from Necron 7. OST plz: https://soundcloud.com/jhlo…

Dominoes already has a promotional campaign, and the major online retailers are listing it for 2015.

Cameo : The Commercial Entertainment. Or, the thing I see in glimpses across the cabin of some in-flight 320x240 state of the art lcd vertical drink coaster between infographics instructing which cushiony objects inflate over your face and which keep you afloat should you survive the disaster lottery and the aircraft

Huh. June 20th is a Saturday, not a Sunday. Seems to be an awfully big typo, or…

So, liberally adapting Dead Poets' Society is cool. Liberally adapting a Dead Poets' Society faith-based treatment isn't. I'm beginning to think logic was never their strong suit. God Is Not Dead really had nothing to do with DPS. So. Huh. Litigious hacks will litigate and hack.

Spoiler, VaatiVidya in real life is a very pretty man.

Banderas hails from Malaga, Moorish Spain beach country, so… sure?

Bloodborne was the Castlevania we needed.
