If by “boring” he means “a continuation of America’s position as a (mostly) respected global power and ally to many nations” and “relative US economic stability” then yes, he’s correct, the last 8 years were quite boring. I hope he’s prepared to be teetering on the brink of diaster for the next four years at a bare

It’s so upsetting. A family member of mine voted for Trump because “the last 8 years were boring” and all I can think today is how right he was. The last 8 years were gloriously, perfectly boring. I’ll take boring any day over this actual shit show (or maybe more fitting- piss show).

Have I recovered? I’ve discussed tidbits of this story over the years. In 20p0, I was in an explosion/ fire and spent 2 months in a coma (then 5+ years having 100+ reconstructive surgeries).

Maybe I shouldn’t disagree with this hypothesis, seeing as how I know next to nothing about the early stages of Alzheimer’s, but I really don’t think it’s dementia. I genuinely believe this is what it looks like when a 70-year-old man has never attempted to seriously educate himself, does not read anything

Don’t forget, despite what he’d have people think, he left UPenn/Wharton with a BS (insert joke here) and only spent 2 years there - he transferred from Fordham. So he does not have a Wharton MBA.

Jesus, he really said that? I cannot watch or read transcripts for fear of apoplexy, seriously.

Oh, an EXPERT! What exactly does your father know that every doofus including me doesn’t?

At the beginning I think Pence referred to him as “the president” and I had this full body, hot, panicky sick feeling. Like, I “knew” this was happening, but the combination of Obama’s farewell address last night and then this today made the imminent, real reality of it come crashing down on me. Like, this is it. It’s

I’ll be surprised if he makes it 6 months, honestly.

My father in law, a staunch, lifelong fiscal Republican (but socially libertarian, I guess) was a psychiatrist for 50 years, spending a lot of that time in a retirement home in the UK as their on-call psychiatrist, and the first thing he said about Trump during one of the Primary Debates was “That man has

Reporters cannot ask him multipart questions, it makes it WAY too easy to dodge. I can’t imagine how tempting it is to ask a whole litany of questions in your one turn but the fact that he could sidestep the question about whether his staff had contact with Russia is unacceptable.

How the fuck could he graduate from Wharton with that kind of vocabulary?

At this point, I wish this too. I genuinely think that Pence would be better, because I don’t think that Pence would get into a nuclear war over a few insults.

“He has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old”

Incoherent and his vocabulary is operating with around maximum 5,000 words. Big, beautiful, tremendous - his active word group, particularly for adjectives/adverbs can’t be more than 50-100 words.

It’s stress, too. For the first time in his life, he’s being held accountable for the crap he says and does.

He has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old

Nothing witty, I just hope he fucking dies.

The Trump press circus in a nutshell:

The decorum of a statesman.
