@zyph: Man I hope there's a record somewhere. And that whoever holds it got lots of blister cream as compensation.

Oh, I should read comments before posting mine. I should have figured others would remember that (fondly?).

The original Mario Party. It had all those minigames where you had to rotate the joystick, before, presumably, parents complained about all their children's blisters.

The crowbar is ubiquitous and iconic.

This is pretty perfect. When I bought my new computer recently, after an old one whose disc drive didn't even work for years, I had decided I would try to check out all the classic PC games I missed the first time 'round. X-COM was right at the top of the list with some others (Deus Ex, Fallout, System Shock 2,

Franchises it would make sense to provide a LEGacy: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Spiderman

Fuck.. fuck! I fucking forgot to sign up. I think I'm going to cry, seriously. Goddamn it.

The Oregon Trail one cracks me up, and I never actually played the game. That man has his priorities in order. And he's standing so proudly!

Oh man, how have I never seen that penis helicopter clip before? That is fantastic.

Aren't trees the lords of shadow?

Seriously, if I didn't love Valve enough as it was, their grasp of punnery would woo me. Lenin a Hand! :D :D :D

So it looks like in between watching the olympics, I'm going to be healing a billion heavies. I'm down with that.

The day I knew I was a true Anglophile was when I stubbed my toe and shouted out, with no premeditation, "Bloody buggering fuck!"

The olympics include sport shooting events. I don't see how that's very different at all video games - manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
