I’m actually the complete opposite - I find that in first person you get a much better immersion and can actually notice all the small details in the environment - Like looking at a graffiti from up close, or even just looking at the rabble on the road - everything can feel so much more personal and immersive.

There are hundreds of thousands of people, at minimum, in the world of The Last of Us, and they have problems with overpopulation in their crowded fortress towns. If there’s any time or place where being gay would be absolutely OK in terms of societal logistics, it’s there.

I’m pretty sure there are well over a few hundred people left in The Last of Us universe. And I for one am happy to see the game finding warmth and humanity in a place like this. I mean, the game is about fungus zombies destroying the world; I think I can suspend my disbelief long enough to accept that a community…

They wrote a thing, and put out some screenshots. Considering Mizuguchi’s past work, I suspect the trailer actually captured the vibe of playing the game really well.

With Lumines Remastered coming to Steam I think it’s just a matter of time before it comes to PC. Might not be on launch day but soon.

Love the response. Say what you want about the “accuracy” of woman in WWII (read: get over it, there WERE women), I find it odd to see so many complaints about the reveal trailer based on the tone, color palette, mixed gender fireteam, etc. 

Okay, let’s nitpick further: you and I both know very well that the majority of the anger about the woman in the game is NOT because she’s infantry; it’s that she’s a prominent character in the game in a space where sexists could previously have “legitimate” arguments to not have to see prominent female characters and…

I think it might actually be the letter V (as in V for Victory), which was a really common symbol in WWII.
