It just yellows again over time though, with a layer shaved off.

none of that sounds like something i would do to a one of a kind collectible. “just leave it out in the sun for a while it’ll be fine” “use some powdery stuff” very scientific over here :p
Is there just a chemical bath you put the parts in or can you paint on some compound that re-impregnates the plastics with the oils or whatever they have lost?
Hahaha! Look how funny and normal he is! You could almost forget him secretly funding Trump support and far right efforts online! Because, he likes video games!
And they would have locked your ass away in jail, rightfully so.
*My ISP & my GFX cards when I pushed the 8K button*
I can’t even play the video without my PC losing its mind.
See, this is what I’d do if I had “Fuck you” money. Just wasteful amounts on PC components.
No, I don’t watch sports, either. I’m consistent in that regard.
Jim Cooke, you genius. That illustration is the shit and you deserve more than you are being paid, whatever that amount is.
I don’t see much of a difference between the people that watch these streams and the people that fall for cam girls. Every documentary I see is viewers that are a bit lonely and obsessive. If I can dedicate hours to watching a stranger play games, couldn’t I be spending those hours gaming with my buddies? Just seems…
I’m 36, and have absolutely no problem stating that the concept of being a “streaming personality” is beyond my ken. I don’t know if it’s because I’m too old, or because I’m too employed, or what, but the idea of having enough free time to spend hours watching other people play video games is so foreign to me that I’m…
My thoughts exactly. As someone in that same-ish age range, I do not understand people tuning in to watch these people for hours, nor do I understand wanting to entertain the people who would. I get “I’m playing videogames and getting paid for it!” argument, and I get the streamer POV more (it’s a job) but I don’t…
Really interesting story, Cecilia.
Am I the only one that thinks that any standardized competition should use standard controllers? I mean, it is not an unfair advantage if the controllers themselves are different? And since a technical failure is not by definition under control (no pun intended) of the organizers how does it not become an important…
I just like the logic of “BRO CAN’T PLAY WITH ITEMS AND CAN ONLY USE CERTAIN MAPS BECAUSE THIS IS ABOUT SKILL BRO” and then endorsing the use of broken controllers to do moves that were never intentionally supposed to be part of the game in the first place.
still don’t understand why people comment before reading an article. smh
I was thinking the same thing.
If you’re intentionally depending on hardware that isn’t actually working correctly in order to play, that’s when it’s time for the game to die. It’s too damn old and just finding TV monitors to play on is getting more difficult. The game has passed its time.
Don’t forget to mention, to seasoned veterans of the original game: they fixed the boost fire-jumping exploit, which makes online racing a LOT more competitive and enjoyable as a whole. Now you no longer have a handful of players a lap ahead of the rest because of a physics glitch.
