i don’t think it was underrated. i think it might have under performed in sales, and there was a lot of skepticism because of a shitty multiplayer beta (that noone wanted or played in the final version) but it is really highly praised.

I work at a big box retailer and we carry PS4 and Xbox One. No Switch at all. And we likely never will. Nintendo is stingy to the point of hurting themselves because we’re being asked daily about it. It isn’t us, it’s Nintendo.
