I’m sure the kids that Special Effect work with really care about where the money came from.

DC seriously needs to figure out what they want do with the Batman continuity as at the moment it is just absurd and starting to almost become cumbersome for the line itself. I don’t mean that everything needs to canon, but rather that they are trying to make everything be canon despite the continuous contradictions.
“Toxic.” A word that, like “racist,” “fascist,” “-istphobic,” and all the rest, has been so over-mis-used so as to lose not only it’s meaning, but it’s sting.
Attention the left: this is why no one likes us.
Yes, it is a distraction that the Right is exploiting. But that’s the whole point. Don’t throw the Right a bone by doing stupid stuff like pulling Kindergarten Cop. That just makes the real arguments against police brutality and racism seem trivial for being associated with them.
Which is probably why this Lois Leveen lady shouldn’t have chosen this as the hill to die on and given them ammo.
Let’s not forget the rampant trans erasure by having a small boy proudly announce that “Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina”!
Yes, Kindergarten Cop is only a movie. So are Birth Of A Nation...
God people are so fucking stupid
This take is so bad that the quality all of your other opinions are now in question.
Hey, everybody! It’s that guy!
This is really good casting. JK Simmons’ voice was already who I was hearing as that character as I was reading the book. (Can’t wait to see my boy Robot.)
“Song of the South” is exactly the reason why Elba is right.
I broadly hate praising the Disney machine, but I thought their approach with Disney+ was the right one - put disclaimers in front of potentially offensive stuff that let people know what they’re getting into.
Isn’t this post missing the obligatory AVclub “he is wrong and stupid” judgement tacked on to the end?
I may have a man crush on this guy.
I really wonder if headlines like this portend the ‘20s. If so, I’m gonna spend a lot of the decade going, ‘wait... who am I supposed to be mad at?’
Says the guy who complained about people making murals honoring an unarmed man who was killed by police for having a fake $20 bill because he had a criminal history and cares more about abusers than their victims because “what about their livelihood”, and who thinks toxic work environments can be magically solved by HR
yeah /co/’s been talking about this show for months now, general consensus seems to be that Owl House is a pastiche of other, better shows, with Eda aka Ryoko being the one bright spot in the series.
