My first car ever was an ‘06 G35 Coupe 6MT. God I loved that car. Your Z brings me back those memories. Dont listen to these pissed-in-Cheerios eating haters, I love what you have done to your car and your control of the car on the track is admirable. I currently run a square setup 255/40/19 Michelin Pilot Supers on

According to all of the assholes here, the VQ35DE exhaust noise “sucks all the balls”.

It’s a small minority dealing with their own insecurities and unhappiness.

Hey, another Atl guy. I like your car and want to hug you for it not being stanced. It seems the Z/G cars are the most subjected to that torture.

I find Jalopnik commenters to be a pretty hateful bunch towards anything outside of a small percentage of cars once you get past the first few commenters.

Man, the weekend hosts a tough crowd ‘round here.

Great driving!

I’m actually shocked by all the Z hate on here... I feel like jalopnik is usually a pretty accepting of all cars and enthusiasts as a whole, except for maybe brodozers and stance bros.

Atrocious styling? Sure keep telling yourself that. The 350Z in coupe form is simple and gorgeous. The roofline alone is fantastic, as well as the clean lines. Now in roadster form it’s another story indeed. But in coupe form it was not atrocious.

Right On dude! Dont listen to people hate on the internet, drive what you love!

Man, you set your standards way too high for an under $30K performance car. Its shitty in plenty of ways no doubt, but it was CHEAP. And it gives no shits about anything other than budget performance. The priorities were RWD, biggish engine, decent handling, good reliability and a cheap base price. I think there’s

When I bought my ‘03 Track Pack 350Z I loved it for (not in spite of) all of its flaws.

Chadbee Nice Z sir!

That said, turning it into a track machine is probably the most noble thing you can do to a 350Z. They are terrible street cars and that design has aged so poorly. Kudos for at least doing something useful with it instead of letting it die an agonizing stance nation death.

Awesomely ridiculous... Yes, agreed.

Nice photo! I was never a huge fan when the 350Z first came out, but I have been thinking about picking up a cheap one for a track day build. They are good platforms and can be picked up pretty inexpensively in good condition.

thanks for no stance. Don’t understand how there are still haters when the guy is tracking and focused on suspension and tires rather than forced induction. “hurr durr it’s not an M3/miata/brown manual station wagon and the engine sounds like the Rock Biter from Neverending Story.” Can’t buy love from these jalopdiks

This is the first time in my life I’ve actually liked a 350Z.

In my opinion the 350z is aging really well. The nice wide hips look great with wide rubber, a lowered suspension and some engine work will sure make it a fun daily, track toy no doubt.

Would you rather me hellflush or stance it out? I modified it for track duty and mountain drives, and yes, its VERY awesome at it =P
