I did thrifting for a while. It it super competitive in places like LA. Most re-sellers have made friends with the people who work at the thrift stores and they get first pick at what comes in before it even hits the floor. Most of the leftover stuff is not that good but there are still gems to find.

I am currently facing the dilemma where I really want to learn some form of mixed martial arts but I live in a very expensive area (West LA) every gym is at least $220 a month and I get it, they have upkeep and trainers to pay etc but I just can not swing that much every month.

If I did not have responsibilities I would be playing this game. I love it so much I leveled a dragoon, white mage and monk. The game is so enjoyable and the environments are so rich I love it.

Thank god for automatic transmissions. Driving a stick in Los Angeles where it takes an hour to go 8 miles is not a fun experience. Also, the Trader Joes where I live is up a very steep, busy, curvy ramp it used to be a nightmare going up that sucker.
