Objectively, I completely understand the appeal and popularity of Skylanders, but it’s still really disappointing for me to see Spyro going further down the Skylanders rabbit hole. Especially with his stupid, butt-ugly face. :/ It’s like someone punched him right in the snout.

Spyro is a former Insomiac IP that turned into Skylanders when the original series’ popularity waned.

Heartily agree.

Nah, we’ve just gone back to biding our time until Sun/Moon comes out.

Pretty much everything I was going to say, but shorter and better.

I wouldn’t be surprised by this at all since Anno somehow managed to reuse songs for His and Hers Circumstances, and that’s in a completely different genre from Eva.

Y’know, I actually have a lot of trouble the second time through, depending on how long it’s been since the first one. I tend to get bogged down at the beginning with trying to remember what I did the first time, especially when there are lots of collectibles to be found. Not that that stops me from trying, I just end

Definitely an improvement. Everything looks a lot less smooth and CG-perfect. I actually like her face much better now too, it’s much closer to a real human shaped chin instead of imitation the anime standard of crazy narrow jawlines and pointy chins.

*looks up Guillaume Canet* Hot damn, WHY? (O///O)

I’m 99% certain the key to all this is the Sheikah Slate. First time I saw it in action I immediately thought “There it is. I bet THAT’S the NX.” I can’t be the only person suspecting this, right?

I’m curious about this—you say a 40 hour story is too much by “modern standards.” Why? and what do those standards entail, exactly? I personally favor the longer games with meaty stories I can really get invested in. Games around the 10 hour or less range always feel like they end too soon. And the ones with a message

In that vein, Haruhi comes to mind. I don’t know about *better*, as I’ve only watched the first season (in broadcast/Kyon order), but it was intriguing enough that I’ve always meant to go back and watch it again in chronological order just to see how the pacing changes.

Alright, now I KNOW I’m not the only person that saw UB-01 and thought of the “mysterious girl” Lillie.

Neither could I. I only gave it a few pages, though. I remember having an “ugh, seriously? *this* is what everyone’s going crazy over??” reaction almost immediately. :/ Then after reading the synopsis, I was doubly glad I gave it a pass.

Exactly what I was thinking! I’m actually playing Dragon Age for the first time right now and *really* enjoying it.

All this waiting for Andromeda is killing me, so I decided to fire up my barely started Dragon Age: Orgins game and give it another go. I played Mass Effect first so it took me a bit to get the hang of the combat, but my need to play a Bioware RPG (read as: talk my way out of fighting and develop unhealthy romantic

The jet silhouette reminds me of a Klingon Bird of Prey (which is aweosme).

How crazy would it be if the NX turned out to be Nintendo’s (re)attempt at a VR headset? Just a thought.
