It was, yeah. Iirc the change was to avoid confusion with that space game CHORVS? Chorus was a better title imo and CHORVS basically disappeared the moment it released, but maybe the SEO would still take a hit.

This exactly. Nothing better for moving a console than its original box. Fits perfectly, and doesn’t need a label!

Interesting, the Edge buttons felt noticeably better in my opinion!

I mean... People could just be excited/interested to see if Avatar 2 will be as visually groundbreaking as the first, given the technological improvements since 2009? And if people genuinely like Dances with Wolves in Space, let people like Dances with Wolves in Space.

Hey, thanks for the polite discussion! (Unfortunately rare on the internet.)

This is a severely delayed reply, but: if Kotor and Dragon Age: Origins with their silent protagonists are one end of the spectrum and the Witcher series with the somewhat-malleable Geralt is another end, Mass Effect and the other Dragon Age games split the difference. There’s plenty of room for deep storytelling, char

Pre-Andromeda Bioware games would seem to disagree.

Yeah, since the only time holo characters seem to notice someone not in costume is when other people have bothered getting into costume, we can assume one of two things: it’s some kind of realism setting that can be toggled, OR every time holo-characters don’t comment on their space pajamas, it’s because the writers

Now imagine BotW with coop/multiplayer! How awesome would it be to take on Ganon with a friend, or (more likely) run around the open world with some else at your side to exterminate sleeping bokoblins?

Similar feelings. I was kind of looking forward to a (potentially) POC Ciri. Having not played the games and only read part of the first book, I don’t have any strong attachment to her depiction in either. Plus the landscape of movie/TV fantasy adaptations is just so OVERWHELMINGLY white that the variety would’ve

Haven’t seen Solo, and after the countless details I’ve heard since it came out, I don’t WANT to see it. I’m just going to pretend the whole movie is some sensationalized, unreliable narrator flashback and move on.

Sounds like a prime opportunity for MCU Rehab...

#BPforBP, come on internet let’s make it happen!

Perhaps that’s also justification for why it SHOULD win? The way I see it, Best Picture isn’t just about artistic achievement, it’s about what the film says.

Mind. Blown. I honestly didn’t believe it would work...but 11 clicks after Aum Shinrikyo and there I was: object (philosophy).

I’m with you except for the bit about Joker lol! He’s WAY more important to me as a character than Zaeed, literally one of the least important party members next to Kasumi and Vega.

If you’re more of a classic Bioware fan (as it sounds) maybe you’d like Dragon Age: Origins better? I’d at least recommend checking out some gameplay. The Dragon Age games all play fairly differently in terms of combat, and Origins is even more of a throwback with the silent protagonist. Just a thought!

I could be outraged, but I don’t see anyone complaining there aren’t enough multiracial Disney heroines. (Does Gargoyles’ Elisa Maza count? Can’t think of anyone else.) I guess by definition, altering a black character to bi/multiracial is still potentially whitewashing. I still can’t help but be pleased to see a light

As did I, but people kept telling me I was wrong! It’s still the default in my head tho.
