I’ve seen some pretty extreme camber on Race Car setups, resulting in some Stance, because when you’re cornering you can do Weird Things to how big your contact patch is depending on your camber.
Which makes sense when you’re cornering at 60+ like wild.
Otherwise, you’re doing it “just because you think it looks cool”…
ask Apple + thinness of products + battery life ;)
My Dad bought a PT Cruiser, paying _extra_ for it to get it right after it officially hit dealerships.
He hit a deer with it, paid a lot of money to have it properly fixed, then hit a bad Michigan pothole with it and it was never the same.
He sold it/traded it in, and bought a Chevy HHR.
IMHO it’s one of the prettiest generations of Corvette — I think the C4 is an unlovable brick.
But yes, the power is sad.
Based on that definition of Pony car, you could argue the Mazda Miata :P
But as far as afford-ability + sporty, low trims of the Mustang and Camaro come to mind.
Taking bets now on these cars being seized by the government and sent to the scrapper
and/or mysteriously disappearing and ending up in some higher-up cop’s garage.
It’s Northfield Township, it’s already a disaster zone. Ask Whitmore Lake.
More beautiful than a F-Type, Aston, or Lotus? Hmmmmmmm
Flaming Hot Take:
Maseratis == bad.
Boring, overrated Oooooh I bought a Italian Sports Car But None Of The Actual Good Ones.
I’d rather have (as other people have pointed out) a Jag F-Type, a number of Astons, a Lotus Exige, any number of Vipers or Corvettes, a kit Cobra or Daytona, any number of different year Hellcat…
>Men are horny and feel the need to procreate
Or *assuming* it was cool and high fives should be exchanged, when in reality a young male feels ashamed, used, and pressured.
This screams tee-shirt sizes/story point estimates, and two week sprints with daily standups of “what have I accomplished today and what is blocking me”?
Yes, but mounting that around my diffuser is...problematic.
That’s certainly an idea.
In a perfect world, I think I would cut a tiny square into the diffuser for the trailer receiver to stick through, then weld that shut for aero reasons (or maybe not? I’m not fully certain, tbh).
That still leaves questions for mounting the _sides_ of the hitch to the bumper, given those posts…
It’s similarly easy on a NA Miata. You can use the factory tow hook mount locations for the rear bumper:
That definitely looked more like a “I am letting off and adjusting something because reasons” than a “Holy shit that S2000 is way faster than me and I need to let it back by”.
It’s interesting to compare this commentary to the recent post about Lance Stroll.
I’m 6'4" and regularly drive an NA Miata. _shrug_
If I could be in a support race, I would.
