This just reminds me of all the Diablo 4 people before it released worrying about how long it takes to hit max level.  Then sweating it to level 100 so they could START playing the game and then lamenting that there is no game after level 100 and wanting refunds.  All the while ignoring everything they did before max

did you read the article? it’s because min-max farming dweebs go into matchmaking and let their shitty behaviors harm the experience for others. i don’t care how someone plays in a private match, but it’s an objectively shitty experience trying to matchmake and landing in a lobby where you get kicked or griefed by

This headline could apply to almost every game, but Gamers never learn.

Totally agree. it’s the same side of those trying to maximize monetization of live service games.
Screw the meta, just play to enjoy the game!

I’ve been playing this over the weekend and it’s amazing. The best part of it are the accessibility options that allow you to tweak how punishing the game is. You can edit how much loot you lose if you die or whether there’s a timer on exploration. This was extremely welcome for me, as without, I would’ve gotten too

Hmm, this sounds really fascinating! This has piqued my interest, I’m looking forward to hearing more about the game.

I remember him from ST:Disco in Season 3. I read about the special accommodations and it was awesome.  His loss will be felt for a long time.  My condolences to his family.

I honestly also love how the characters look and I adore this hair style but as much as I found it unique in the beginning, it now feels super generic since it’s so over used. I hope our ‘Prince of Persia’ is the last big name rocking the hair style... For now at least.

I would rather see a dozen more killmonger dread dos than another single generic protagonist crewcut

Gee it’s almost as if 3D modeling hair is tricky and shortcuts are used for better performance

Those aren’t mutually exclusive statements. The negative attention pre-dates its release.

I’m reminded of how Michael Eisner basically saved Disney by producing one or two expensive tentpole films per year surrounded by a bunch of low-budget, good-but-not-outstanding movies. Basically the entirety of Touchstone kept the company solvent. The fucking Ernest films prevented a hostile takeover of Disney. And

It’s not terrible. It’s just not great either

The gullible are always convinced that their check will arrive in the mail any day now

Sadly I’m more and more convinced that the public at large would rather die in a gutter than hurt the people responsible.

be the change you want to see in the world....

I’m so exhausted of late stage capitalism. When do we get to the part where we put CEOs and shareholders in a guillotine?

solid poop

All true, but I thought it was a perfectly solid poop joke at the end.

Probably. The owners of Walmart care more about one rich douchebag’s feelings than they care about all of their workers put together.
