Disney’s live action movie run from the 60s and 70s is wild.   

This had me googling like mad to check on DVD, but thank goodness he is still with us (98!!!!). Unfortunately, I do recall that Matthew Garber, who played Michael, died quite young.

Disney has been a rotted husk of a corpse for almost three decades now but just knowing some of the old guard was still around for the occasional interview was still a link to the glory days and some source of comfort. There goes one of the last of the greats.

What a legend!

The Slipper and the Rose, for which the Sherman Bros. wrote the songs, is one of my underappreciated favorites. It’s an adaptation of Cinderella, and it’s not perfect, but their songs are all wonderful. I often get them stuck in my head. 

Ain’t nobody could write a song like those two.

RIP Richard Sherman, now I have five words for you: “The tiki, tiki, tiki room!”

I was surprised and delighted at the end of the film Christopher Robin (starring Ewan McGregor) when Sherman and the Milne characters were featured at the end singing a song. His music just brings on the smiles.

I appreciate Ayo’s goal here. I knew her from comedy podcasts before she blew up, so I wasn’t surprised by the comment. I adore Ayo, and she was not wrong about JLo. I wouldn’t presume Dan Snyder, a famous idiot, to know anything about anything.

Snyder is the ex owner of the the Washington football team. This area celebrated so damn hard after the final sale of the team.  Please fix.

The fact that Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong are starring in this indicates that they are going to rip Trump a new one. They are going to absolutely skewer his criminal ass.

it’s unclear what a “flattering” portrayal would’ve really entailed, at least in Snyder’s view. Trump’s friends and supporters seem to like him because he’s an asshole and a bully, so it’s hard to imagine Snyder was looking for some sanitized version of his story where he came across sweet and saintly

Looking forward to the Snyder Cut, which is just two hours of Dan gargling Trump’s shriveled, old balls.
