Oh good, if Jeff Davis is doing it I can definitely skip it. He of the convoluted plot threads and non-existent character development will never trick me again, no matter how many hot shirtless guys he puts in his projects.

It’s so good, best she’s ever been. The problem I had with her sophomore record is that it felt so impersonal and detached, and that problem magnified itself with Sheezus. But this is both an evolution and a return to form in the best way. I can’t stop listening to Your Choice.

My point was that queens have to do a lot in this competition that is not required of them in the real world. I wasn’t literally asking.

Is it a requirement to sing live?

Or, you know, context or whatever.

Chris Brown is also a monster, Mr. Barris, and you had no problem hiring him. Not to say Rosanne didn’t get what she richly deserved but glass houses nonetheless.

I also enjoy his music. It’s not like Julien Baker or anything but it’s serviceable pop stuff.

How can there be a review when there was no episode this week, Oliver?

I watched Let’s Plays of Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy and the players eventually gave up caring and turned them into extended David Cage roasts. He’s like some parody of bad writing that gained sentience and decided to make all of these overrated, bloated, borderline-offensive (and sometimes blatantly offensive)

No new episode next week? Where are you getting this from?

It does seem very tailored for ‘all audiences.’ It doesn’t bode well for the final product, imo.

I’m as bitter as they come but that’s not what I was saying. The sit-down was fine and sweet and I think Asia was genuinely coming from a good place. But contextually it was hypocritical when Asia has not displayed the best people skills in the past. She sours the goodwill she builds up by being super *bitter* for not

I hate the new commenting format enough that I no longer come around here that often but I just had to say something now: Saying Asia has MC locked is one of the most outlandish, ridiculous things I’ve read and it speaks to the level of shallowness in Oliver’s reviews that I’ve felt for quite some time. She is

I thought Season 2 was way better than Season 1, due to how long it took for the show to find its rhythms. Season 3 was choppy though.

As someone who watched the first two episodes then bailed, I’m looking forward to it as well.

Fake pregnancy, gay kid stalker, football team dancing to Single Ladies, Tina’s fake stutter (??).

Quantico is like the Glee of espionage thrillers. Obvious, repetitive storytelling with bad meta-commentary, constantly shifting character motivations and same-sex romance storylines that feel perfunctory despite the series insisting that they’re integral.

Okay but like I’m gonna need a Starwipe article on this.

I had almost come to terms with it not coming back so today was a nice surprise. TBS is really proving itself to me lately.
