It’s especially sad that this comes on the day Future Man premiered on Hulu, a show that Julie and Billy would have torn apart.

Me too and I totally side with her on most political issues. But she is a little... extra. It makes it easier for people to tune you out when you never stop yelling. Yelling is a good thing, yelling provokes change. But you gotta change it up sometimes or your point is going to get lost.

I watched the first few minutes this morning and I was really put off by the cheapness on display in the first scene. I don’t even usually notice stuff like this but the fight choreography was really bad. And then there was that strained scene at the video game store and I was done.

Stealing is free.

It feels kind of like you’re offended by people stereotyping Juggalos which is... interesting.

End Game is on my shortlist for pop single of the year. Delicate, Dress, Getaway Car and I Did Something Bad are also great.

Ha, that’s fair. I meant a good one, like Call Me Maybe or New Rules or whatever. They sound like the type of songs you love despite yourself, which is my favorite genre of pop music because it tends to be the most purely fun.

Yeah why engage with current pop culture when you can live in nostalgia?

It’s actually really, really good. It’s consistent and each song sounds like it could be a future pop radio single. In fact I’d say the two big songs released so far are the weakest of the lot. I was dubious but I’ve been won over.

These numbers don’t take into consideration the amount of screentime a queer character has or their prominence in the cast. We have mainstream series like How to Get Away with Murder, The 100 and that Hayley Atwell vehicle last year, all led by queer female characters. You know how many network drama series have

Yeah, that’s not what I’m doing and that’s not what mansplaining is but otherwise good job.

Also, regardless of the actual numbers, there are a lot of very prominent queer female characters on TV. Compare the amount of currently running series with a queer female lead as opposed to a queer male. Plus television is and always has been more comfortable with displaying physical affection between women then men.

Billy on the Street is massively inconsistent but when it’s good it’s great.

You seem like a totally reliable, rational individual so obviously I believe you implicitly, stranger on the internet.

I was not advocating that it was the only funny show, it being unique was a separate point to that. Sorry, that was worded weird.

Everyone knows comedy improves when you chop it up and put it in a montage.

This is awesome. I love when there’s a badass celebrity story, especially during the flood of sexual assault accounts.

Not that this needs anymore elements to make it horrible but this is a weird case of art and life merging considering he was also a rapist on Gossip Girl and the writers tried to cover it up after the pilot.

That was either some serious Levi shade or you have never seen a picture of him.

Just as an FYI, AV Club, I don’t know why this site has been eating its TV reviews lately but Curb is nowhere to be found on the TV Club page. I had to Google the show to find your review of it. This has happened multiple times before and I don’t even go on here all that often anymore. Now I don’t really care about
