This is literally an article involving The Leftovers, a series Lindelof was the creative head of that turned into one of the most critically adored series of all time.

Film and television are not similar media, in my opinion. Greg Berlanti wrote Green Lantern. Ryan Murphy did Eat, Pray, Love. Shonda Rhimes wrote fucking Crossroads (the Britney Spears movie). So his supposed (I haven't seen any of the Alien movies) bungling of one film's script does not taint his career for me.

Or maybe don't have such a strong opinion on something you haven't seen all of?

Two all-time great television shows aren't enough of a pedigree for you?

Anyone who was in college in the late aughts with internet access went on Chatroulette with their friends. You'd all be like "Oh god ANOTHER penis?!" but in your hearts you'd know that's what you were there for.

The question is whether erections will be shown on television. Because it would be pretty dumb to see a flaccid penis moments after sex has been had, which I'm pretty sure has happened on Game of Thrones.

It's almost as if the clip was created for promotional purposes to entice people to watch the show and I was responding to that. ALMOST.

From the clip provided it kind of feels like Jon Stewart by way of Daniel Tosh with an Australian accent. Or alternatively like a low-rent Samantha Bee. I'm not familiar with the specifics of Mr. Jefferies' work, but so far I'm not impressed.

I agree. Nothing yet in seasons 2 or 3 has reached the insane heights of the end of the first season, but it does seem to be humming along nicely. I wouldn't mind Thomas taking it down a peg next season but I don't feel overwhelmed yet.

I agree that violence shouldn't beget violence but I wouldn't shed any tears if it should happen. Kind of like how I don't believe in capital punishment but if someone killed a serial killer I'd shrug and be like "Fair enough."

Solid wordplay but that was a hell of a trailer.

I agree with what you're saying but I do think it's a wee hypocritical to call someone else clueless when that has been your main defining character trait 60% of the time I see your comments.

The queens themselves are stamping out drama! You can't tell me the season-long shade/immediate apology formula hasn't gotten a little boring. The queens this cycle are just very aware of social media and their "image" and no one wants to be a bitch (other than Trinity, who has said she's been edited to be LESS

They're drag queens, honey. I don't need manufactured drama necessarily but when they actively try to stamp out cattiness in the name of being "nice" I think that's dull. Narratives need conflict and I haven't felt a lot of conflict out of this season.

It's a 30 Rock reference. Tina Fey properties will never not be quotable.

You know people can have different opinions without it being based on bias. Alexis' performance (this is not my argument, it's stolen from Movie Bitches) was a greatest hits collection of Liza-isms somewhat akin to Thorgy's Michael Jackson (although far less pervasive and thus less hoary). I think it was a pretty bad

And other things basic assholes on the internet say.

But this is exactly what happens when there's outrage about every small indiscretion. It becomes white noise and then when something actually fucked-up happens like this they just think it's another overreaction. A scream after a period of silence is heard much louder than one on top of a constant buzz.

I grew up in a conservative religious environment. Don't talk to me about not dealing "with anything that doesn't align with your worldview."

Ms./Mr. DeLonzo, I think you're a dick but on this one specific issue I agree with you: It's nonsense when you can't point out human rights violations for fear of being labeled as "bigoted."
