I see it more as an issue of respect. Respect the fact that I don't want to hear a word that's been used to demonize and ostracize people like me. I agree that actions are more important than words but speech is an action and it does say something about the speaker.

I think he's a great talent but to use offensive language the bit has to be really funny and this bit was dumb.

Louis CK is not NOT a problematic comic though. His extended riff on f—-ots made me very uncomfortable the first time I watched it.

I don't agree with his views on terrorism but I agree with him that human rights for women suck in majority-Islam countries.

We tend to lean pretty hard to the left around here. If you don't care for it I suggest commenting on a different website.

There are a lot of outrage issues I roll my eyes at but this isn't one of them. I don't think this automatically makes Maher the devil or anything but the entire statement/"joke" was wrong and gross, full stop.

I recently relayed a story to my friends about my cousin using the n-word and their first question was "hard R or no?"

His last show ended because of bullshit reasons and self-righteous assholes. This one will end because he's become the bullshit asshole.

Oh shit, that ain't good.

If you're saying that their talent levels are very close to one another than I agree. But all four of the final queens have various issues that keep them from reaching their full potential. Shea tends to coast, Sasha needs to project more and Trinity/Peppermint have issues with their lewks being generic. Every winner

I disagree. I think the last five (maybe six) winners have all pushed drag and especially Drag Race forward in different ways. Which is why I'm disappointed in a Shea victory because I don't get the boundary-breaking thing from her like I did with Sharon, Jinkx, Bianca, Violet or Bob. I do however get that with Sasha.

Raven should have won the wedding challenge which would have put her wins at 3 to Tyra's 2, probably winning her the season.

I feel like I'm getting further and further away from understanding it the more I read.

Please be detailed in your S2 drama recap. I've seen references to it everywhere but I don't know what set it off or why Morgan was having a funeral for herself.

It's one of the issues with the season in a nutshell: They try so hard to avoid being offensive that it ends up boring.

To play devil's avocado for a second, I do think cultures have certain aesthetics. If someone wears a kimono then that has an automatic Japanese influence behind it. I agree that it's too bad they included the Native American character, but I think the choice of materials was pretty harmless. It's not like the Village

They gave Snatch Game to a lukewarm Liza Minelli that a gay guy in any bar across the US could do better. And they gave the make-over episode to a couple of swimsuits with tight tucks. I'm not saying it's a conspiracy, I just think they discount her because she's a quieter type of awesome.

When Alexis came out in all that bronzer I was like "Oh shit." because honestly I think coloring your skin is a lot worse than wearing a fucking headdress or whatever. I kept thinking "I wonder what the internet will say about this."

Explaining that you don't like certain queens is not an explanation for why you hold that opinion. It's hard to see your side of the issue when there are no reasons given.

I don't hate Michelle normally. She serves T like it's her job and even if I disagree with her I can see what she's saying. And I get what she's saying here too! I totally understand fashion vs. drag but I disagreed with her conclusion that non-traditional drag looks can't be just as draggy as flannel capes. It just
