There was Jaymes…

I liked this episode! I thought it had all the hallmarks of a classic Drag Race challenge and (after a pretty weak Library showing) I thought a lot of queens did okay. There might not have been a grand slam but there were plenty of line drives (oh my god I just made my first sports reference).

Please take this as constructive criticism: If you're going to make a crass, potentially offensive joke, make it funny.

Well good thing you got here when you did because we were going through a 30-second withdrawal from this exact comment.

I love when people try to cover up a tasteless joke with a real world fact. It's like making a racist joke and then being like "You know black people are often targeted by the judicial system."

I mean talk and action are obviously different things. And the modifier of "woke" applies to most queer outfits so it wasn't really necessary to include it, but I did so here we are.

What, there can't be two jerks on the internet at the same time?

Most of the music I like is really pedestrian at the end of the day. I'm a fan of simple, catchy melodies and raw emotion. "Listenable" obviously means different things to different people.

At least you own your asshole-ish tendencies. I really don't mean that as a dig. I think self-awareness is the most underrated personality trait.

Oh my god I was not really a fan of his previous records (fine for background music but nothing outside of Mr. Peterson really hooked me) but this one is so good. Slip Away is my jam right now.

Unless you immediately go over all of the music you know with everyone you meet, I have no idea how you'd come to that conclusion. I keep saying this but ignorance is never a reason to shit on something. You're just proudly proclaiming you don't know something.

Okay, fair enough and I could see why you would think that is an appropriate response to something so trivial. What I don't understand is why this article falls into that category. Sexual assault allegations against a well-respected band are not trivial. They're whatever the polar opposite of trivial is.

They're like the only woke queer band that puts out music that's even slightly listenable. So they have a big following in that community. Which is the sword that ultimately killed them considering those are the people that care most about allegations like these.

I don't mean to ride your jock so often (unless I do WINK) but the whole "I don't know what this is and I don't care" comment archetype is so obnoxious, in my opinion. No one cares that you don't care. The whole apathy fad is so last decade.

So what, you're ethically obligated to comment on every article you don't understand by saying you don't understand it?

That T-Rextasy thing really sealed it for me yesterday. This is the first time someone I really like has gotten this type of attention. I could give two shits about Mel Gibson or Charlie Sheen or Bill Cosby, but Pwr Bttm was like the only queercore band I liked 100% for their music (I'm very picky about listening to

Yeah but the Pirates setpieces mixed a lot of comedy in with the fighting. Age of Ultron did a little bit of that but not nearly enough to offset the amount of time spent on them.

Say what you will about Andy Cohen but at least he gets honest, candid answers out of his guests. I think having alcohol in the studio is a big factor in that.

When he crawls into the giant vagina in Talk to Her. I don't know why since it's so fake looking, but something about seeing it for the first time grossed me out to the extreme.

I love Jill Solloway and I love Kathryn Hahn even more. Ever since she blew into Pawnee as Jennifer Barkley (a star-turn if there ever was one), Hahn has been ripe for greatness. I'm glad she finally has her own show, because we're all pretending Free Agents never happened (Azaria, Hahn AND Leggero? What a waste!)
