This is the silver lining in this awful story for me. I am completely amazed that Georgia pursued this case, used these laws to convict, and actually gave hefty sentences to these assholes.
Having spent 7 years working in a steakhouse, I can attest that there are exactly two kinds of adults who eat steak like this:
Requiem for a Dream. Not only soul-crushingly sad but that final montage of all of them hitting rock bottom genuinely freaked me the fuck out the first time I saw it. I’m not easily rattled at all and my mouth was wide open and I was hiding behind my pillow as I watched.
Plague Dogs. Cried for at least an hour, and I think the sadness lingered a couple of days. The final scene is one of the most heartbreaking I’ve ever seen.
