Hey, now. I'll stop you there. As much as AAF were catapulted into the stratosphere by Smooth Criminal, they were a legitimately decent band, and tarring them with the nü-metal brush is kind of mean.

For some reason, that made me think of "Wait, there's still more space dust on here." How to cook for 40 humans!

Okay..so Varys has a fucking Stargate or something, right?

Solid A. I'm still trying to process it but I'm sure I'll elaborate later on.

"PC load letter? What the fuck does that mean?"

Right now, he would make an excellent king, but he doesn't have the birthright, the social standing or the physical appearance of one (which is just something else that people would ride on, a la "twisted demon monkey.") I'd love to see him take power, but he also kind of lacks an army faithful to him.

I really hope we see her again with 61 of her men in tow.

Oh man, that made me think of this and I laughed my ass off alll over again.

Standing strength of 100 (max) dropped to 85 (extremely high), also resulting in a hidden nerf to speed due to standing weight of armor. Damaging armor only procs +15 strength now (to a total of 100) instead of +30 (to a total of 115, exceeding max), allowing primarily effortless defeat of enemy but cutting down on

Hmm. Tough one, so I'll pick a few. Male narration would either be Lance Henriksen or Geno Segers. Female would be Gina Torres or Marion Cotillard.

Ah, Root. Why you gotta be so amazing? Still quipping and flirting under
heavy gunfire, shouldering recoil from a .338 like an absolute boss and
managing to be an incredible, engrossing character even when your gaze is directed at the lights and everyone at home is listening to the refrains of NIN while being all sad

Bran probably warg'ed into the moment when King's Landing was being sacked and Meera was screaming "BURN THEM ALL!" in the background.

I was introduced to the band a few years ago by a Canadian ex-girlfriend, and they're one of the best thoughts of a shitty period in in my life. This news saddens me, but I hope like hell the tour goes off without a hitch for them.

It all goes back to Cersei talking to Joffrey, telling him "the truth is what you make it." Nobody outside of King's Landing would really know just how despicable Joffrey was. He was the boy-king, thrust into a position of power by the untimely death of his father, when he uncovered a plot to seat his father's best

Sometimes I watch this show and come up with dumb things to cheer myself up. Like, almost every major problem in Westeros can be directly blamed on Will, the Night's Watchman that Ned beheaded in the very first episode.

That's a good point. I'd imagine being present at your own death would be more than enough to chuck a wrench into the engine.

The thing that's screwing me up now though is that Bran was still warged at the time. He was driving the Hodormobile, so why on earth was Meera still screaming at him to hold the door? As if he was in Hodor to do anything else? Can you imagine what would have happened if he was dragging Bran through the forest instead

Well, he never tried to warg into Ned so we'll never know how that would work. The whole time paradox thing stands though, for Wylis to become Hodor means that the past, present and future are all happening simultaneously. Without Bran warging from the future, Wylis would have remained himself. Someone from the future

So, a very good episode, but the thing that I've taken away from it is that..Ned Stark really did hear Bran when he called out to him. So, apparently, warging into the past can change the future.

Society gets confused by simple concepts, apparently. In fixed lesbian drama the standard archetype (butch/femme) is acceptable, but in regular heterosexual programming they're supposed to be girlish, giggling fem-bots only used for titillation and scene dressing. That's where everybody got confused. Technically,
