At least Android is hackable and someone in the ROM community will find a way to restore the functionality. Hell, Google should release a "Google App" that restores functionality to the phone only if the user chooses to download it from the Play store.

If I could easily root the phone and flash it with CyanogenMod 9 than I would not have any issues with the physical device. Where Amazon has to step up to the plate is the offer plans for data without the 5 GB limit or prevent tethering.

I could break 100 in my stripped bare/no options 89 Subie DL sedan. But it felt like an attempt at suicide beyond 90 and I don't think the 13" rubber could have handled much of a turn.

Didn't Steve jobs say, "Good Artists Copy, Great Artists Steal." Looks like Apple cannot stand the heat when they are in the kitchen with a serious competitor.

Total Bullsh!!! The unlock screen on the Galaxy Nexus is light years ahead of the crappy slide on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

The "fart filter" is fine, but will this make my butt trumpet sound harsh. as if it is muffled by a glass pack Thrush or produce the mellifluous tones similar to a FlowMaster. Let's pray that butt does not sound like the "Fart Pipe" hanging off my Asian neighbor's Civic.

Honeycomb is now hidden behind Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean. Man, no respect for the first tablet O/S.

That is why my backpack and carry on case for passing through airport security gets emptied and checked for things that could cause an issue several days before I pack them for the trip. All I need is to have a TSA guard getting their kicks on creating an issue where one does not exist because of a misplaced

Depends on what you are cutting. I carry a hatchet, combat bowie, and folding utility knife in the trunk of my car. All serve a common purpose but each has its own specialty.

I would not have voted crack pipe, but this is a 1999 model which is not the best "receiver" chassis for this big of a motor. I prefer the hyfroformed frame parts of the 2003 and later models. But that is just my personal preference.

I would much rather have a "cascading bug" than watch "mutating code" wipe out all the PL/SQL in my database.

I know the state of Pennsylvania has really worked hard to get filming in the state, but this does not mean that movie companies should just grab cars from the hoods of Pittsburgh or Philly to stick in the movie. Sheesh. Is this as low of a budget production as the shows on the USA network?

Does it really matter is Windows Mobile 6.1 (aka Windows CE) and Windows Phone 7 are different because the bad experience that I had with WinMo mean I am not going with WinPho 7 or 8. To me, this is just another layer of polish on a turd that lost its luster back in the days of the Palm Treo.

18 months of support is pretty darn good. My AT&T Tilt with Windows Phone was axed from support about a year from release and the last update had issues which caused the damn thing to only ring about half the time. It was a real PITA.

And the modern military uses a tremendous amount of depleted uranium in their modern weapons. The new "radioactive" battlefield of death.

How is Sprint selling LTE phone when they are not going to have an LTE network for another 2 years??? Something about this is just plain dumb.

Why an iPhone app? I would have a handful of plastic jigs cut for every store and sent out. Up-front cost would be about $2K, but the time savings would be enormous. Plus the displays could be casually reset between customers and during slow times at the store. But Apple is not about Six Sigma and Lean efficiency.

Totally cool photo!

Vote: LauncherPro - Best Android Experience for Pre-ICS.

With some appropriately placed Velcro, this could be a nice replacement to the $7.00 corded remote with 10' cable that I use now.
