The 426 ponies is impressive, but the 26MPG highway is not that impressive considering the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis in civilian/fleet trim pulls 28 MPG highway.
Too many stories about this exist for this including the fact that Toyota dealers cannot find cause of the problems when the Prius is returned. Look at the articles and the NHTSA reports from owners. This is a real problem and now the proof is in the governments hands.

Quite honestly, I haven't had a binge purchase at an auto parts store in about 10 years. Why??? Because I really don't want to waste my hard earned money on crap that is not useful. Take "Blazer" brand fog lights which would work as auxiliary is intended (from an OEM standpoint) and just serve to annoy other drivers…
