@ColinC: I have to agree. I was expecting some king of monster cannon on the level of Mythbusters and was really disappointed.

Nobody mention Henry Ford.

Damn. I want that color on my full size Ford and the change out the chrome bits for satin nickle.

I am missing the point. Rabbits are small and rear drive. Hyenas are large and front drivers. But you endorse the front drive Mini and not the Cadillac DTS?

Holy Crap. Unfreakin believable. And the fact that he pulled away from the line while keeping it pointed in the proper direction and did not smoke the tires (about half track) is equally amazing.

@arozzi: Very sensible and well written.

The 426 ponies is impressive, but the 26MPG highway is not that impressive considering the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis in civilian/fleet trim pulls 28 MPG highway.

Too many stories about this exist for this including the fact that Toyota dealers cannot find cause of the problems when the Prius is returned. Look at the articles and the NHTSA reports from owners. This is a real problem and now the proof is in the governments hands.

@leavethegun-takethecannoli: It was these guys. They distracted the whole gang and that was it. Computers stopped around the world.

Trooper Roy Wolf had one of these bad boy Mustangs in his garage and the KSP let him play along I64 in eastern KY in this thing like Ray Stevens "Dudley Doright of the Highway Patrol." I am not sure it the stories are true that the car could do over 200 MPH, but suffice it to say these Mustangs were "ticket getting

@fodder650: Boss? The Boss motor won't fit under that hood.

@cgarison: Somebody beat me to the 1st gen taurus pic.

Not the first police package Taurus. This was available in the late 1980s.

Yea. Really Ford. Now the Taurus will have the resale value of Crown Vic and the Impala. Brilliant.

Lord god..... What a shill.

What is wrong with this car???? Seriously. Has the electrical system been the chew toy for rats? The passenger side erased in an accident?

Quite honestly, I haven't had a binge purchase at an auto parts store in about 10 years. Why??? Because I really don't want to waste my hard earned money on crap that is not useful. Take "Blazer" brand fog lights which would work as auxiliary is intended (from an OEM standpoint) and just serve to annoy other drivers

@ne1butu: It actually was too old to qualify for the C4C program because of the classic cars clause.
