I kinda chuckled during the sketch, but the ending is what did it for me. Was it the best sketch in the world? No, but it wasn’t bad as Eve says it is.

Also part of the joke - Consider the actual supernatural nature (supernature?) of Herr Pumpkins - There is no way to traverse the floors that quickly. He is actually supernatural. Again, big part of the joke.

I thought it was a fantastic long con.

I feel like this and lots of other takes on the skit are missing the point. Lots of discussion about the silliness, but no talk of the actual punchline...
