So the only thing I can think is that he raises his hand over his head quickly like he’s going to smack him, but then he brings it down slowly and just kind of pats him, but somehow the ref thought that he came down with the same force he went up?

I mean, it *could* be staged, but I don’t find anything baffling about the idea that just because you’re willing to *threaten* hitting someone with a hammer/shooting someone that you don’t want to actually do it, especially to an old man.
“Exactly, and if you add that magic letter by 65 women who knew him in high school... That’s an awful lot of women and girls to know at that age”
Nope. Not really a pet person in general.
You know how people own big (like 100lb+) dogs? You know how people don’t own cats that big? That is because a cat that big would murder them. I cannot even sleep with a cat in the room.
You call this hating? Here’s my hot take:
“ Just look at John Elway.”
What? No it isn’t. Nationalization would be the government taking over Amazon and declaring it a public utility. What you’re describing is “taxes”.
You’re right. Since there are significant regulatory and oversight challenges in managing money for public welfare, we should just let people die in the street due to circumstances beyond their control. You win.
The fact that you believe (or at least that you said) that Bezos “created 163 billion in wealth” rather than just managing to get his head in front of the spigot while the work of tens of thousands of people were funneled into his face pretty much says it all. Go find someone working 2 jobs to keep their kids in…
Are you really going to stand your ground on the idea that Bezos is worth almost 200 billion because he’s worked so much harder than everyone else? I have no doubt he has worked hard, but to say that his wealth is directly tied to that is obviously nonsense.
“Sherten Apostel” sounds like a pun that I don’t quite get (“Shirt in Apostle?”). See also Hugh Jackman (“Huge Ackman?”).
I thought the “breathe in through the nose” thing was more to stop you from overexerting. E.g. if you are running/biking/whatever so hard that you need to open your mouth to get enough oxygen, you’re not going to be able to keep up that pace, so you should slow down. Obviously when you’re doing anarobic stuff like…
I literally had to check to see if the author was making fun of the Lions coach...
Wat? I played several spider man games on various consoles.
I feel like one complaint I hear about the spiderman games is that they are basically The Batman games reskinned with Spiderman, which doesn’t really seem narratively correct (unless this is the Doc-Ock possessed spiderman who pretty much did the whole ‘I’m going to surveil the entire city’ thing.
Huh, well to be fair I live in CA, and I’ve only been to one once in Tuscon, so I guess I don’t live near to anyone who might be a fan.
Hmm. Hot take. To fair I haven’t had a Jack-in-the-box Chicken Sandwich in probably 15 years, so maybe I’ll try one. So far I’ve found chick-fil-a chicken sandwiches to be the best around here at the fast-food price point, but it’s not like I’ve done a comprehensive survey.
That’s fair, but if I want those things, in-n-out does them better (at the fast food price point) than anyone else in my experience. Also hot tip: order fries “well done” if you don’t want them to become flaccid about 30 seconds after you get them.
This would imply that Whattaburger is well thought of by anyone. I’ve literally never heard anyone discus Whattaburger except to say how shit it is.
