Eh, reading and reading out loud are two different skills. I did college radio for a while and while I didn’t have a problem with it, I remember several people who did (and they could certainly read and speak just fine if they weren’t trying to do both at once).

Really, I always thought of Strange as kind of an aloof dork.

I watched it in the theatre. I didn’t think it was outrageously horrible (I’ll save that for The Avengers - no not that one, the 60's Spy Show reboot), but neither was it particularly memorable. I do think you could get a good movie or 3 (or TV series) out of it, and you wouldn’t need a big effects budget or anything.

Yeah, it didn’t bother me as much here because we haven’t seen WWs origin a bunch of times. I mean, if I had to see her training on Themiscura and rebelling and taking the weapons of the gods in 3-4 separate launches of the franchise, I’d probably find it tedious too.

Yeah, I would have loved to shave off some of the romance and develop the “band of misfits” characters just a little bit more. They each seemed to get like one little glimpse into their inner fights, but it felt a little perfunctory.
