Really, I always thought of Strange as kind of an aloof dork.

I watched it in the theatre. I didn’t think it was outrageously horrible (I’ll save that for The Avengers - no not that one, the 60's Spy Show reboot), but neither was it particularly memorable. I do think you could get a good movie or 3 (or TV series) out of it, and you wouldn’t need a big effects budget or anything.
“Don’t you know all of America’s problems are the fault of brown people?”
“Counterpoint to your counterpoint: The state’s case was infinitely stronger than the defence’s.”
“better than any Marvel Studios movie outside of Winter Soldier and Doctor Strange”
I think I might still call the original X-Men my favorite, but I think I may agree with you on the series. I finally caught Apocalypse on HBO and I was frankly expecting a suicide squad level shit show the way people talk about it and it was...fine. The villain was a dead fish, but so are like half of the MCUs…
But his sandwiches...
“People being targeted and murdered because of the color of their skin are victims” is not the same thing as “everyone is a victim.” Spare me your ridiculous straw man.
He can’t be guilty because I like sandwiches, and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.
/me does his pitch-perfect Roman Polanski impression alone in the bathroom, crying.
/me just now noticed Jim Caviezel’s initials.
Dee-you Dee-you? I still don’t get it?
I mean, I’m pretty sure the random frat bro in the video could outrun Colon, so I don’t expect the freeze would have much trouble unless he spotted him an extra 100 feet or something.
Even more fun: Julia Child(!) helped create it for the OSS: https://www.cia.gov/news-information/featured-story-archive/2015-featured-story-archive/shark-repellent.html
Legion is on my short list of best seasons of television ever, but AoS was very good.
Yeah, I was going to say, Preacher is goddam great (to be fair I have not read the comic).
Yeah, it didn’t bother me as much here because we haven’t seen WWs origin a bunch of times. I mean, if I had to see her training on Themiscura and rebelling and taking the weapons of the gods in 3-4 separate launches of the franchise, I’d probably find it tedious too.
Yeah, I would have loved to shave off some of the romance and develop the “band of misfits” characters just a little bit more. They each seemed to get like one little glimpse into their inner fights, but it felt a little perfunctory.
America can, should, must, and will blow up the moon.
