You...are not.

Heh. I just wrote nearly the exact same post - I would much prefer comics to be organized into short runs of 15-30 issues that are one coherent (and at least mostly self contained) story arc.

Total aside (because this blaming everything except ‘we’re making crappy story decisions’ is obnoxious), but personally I like frequent new #1s because I frankly would prefer comics to stick to shorter runs of like 15-30 issues that are fairly self-contained (frillions of crossovers: also obnoxious). It be nice if

3. Great men’s talent tends to leave for NBA after 1 or 2 years. When UConn recruits a great roster, they get to keep and develop that roster for 4 years (fair point that so does everyone else, but players jumping the draft on the men’s side naturally hits teams with better recruiting harder).

Dammit this makes me feel old.

God dammit that’s perfect.

God works in mysterious ways. That Turkey was going to be the next Hitler.

Well, technically it is called the “Affordable Care Act” but the GOP couldn’t have tried harder to stick it to Obama so they could oppose what is in broad strokes their own bill for purely partisan reasons. Kudos.

Double HAHAHAHAHA -IOC

I’m convinced that people go by the title, the melody, and a few key words. They don’t listen.

Exactly. They are people, just like us.

Since Captain Marvel is supposed to be a big kid, it’s possible Cena’s somewhat goofy presence might actually work there.

Ooh, yeah. Good choice. He was by far the best thing about Avatar, damning with faint praise as that may be.

Does Kevin Nash have the acting chops? I don’t think I’ve seen him in anything other than WWE. Oh, I guess John Wick, but it’s not encouraging that I don’t remember him in there.

I remember really enjoying Star Blazers and then having a lot of trouble getting into RoboTech. I think it was a little too focused on romance subplots and, well, I was like 10. Girls are icky.

I mean, I think because it was different, especially in a show that relied so very heavily on formula. I remember being confused by it as a child.

I recommend having a 4-year old to watch it with. He won’t get *everything* (or she – mine just happens to be a he), but watching actual *good* cartoons through a 4-year-olds eyes is awesome. See also: Justice League, Young Justice, Samurai Jack.

Wait, they do roar. At least some of them do.

Eh, I’d say Thundercats is a best of a bad bunch. The voice acting is...not great. One thing I thought was cool going back and watching a Thundercats a few years ago was the incidental music. It was performed by like a chamber wind ensemble or something. Really odd for a cartoon.
