That’s called a sunk cost fallacy. I mean, there’s probably a world in which if you start pushing out a bunch of bad Star Wars games you make at least some money out of the license for a little while, but I feel like we’ve lived in that world before and it didn’t go well for anybody back then.

I am extremely confused, and this article does not clarify. Did the board resign in protest of the nominations? Or did the board make all those nominations, and then resign to escape the inevitable backlash and firing, as a final fuck-you to the French film community?
