How is it possible to cease being a “co-founder”? That’s newspeak, again. Once you have helped found something, you are forever a co-founder, even if you leave immediately.

Seeing Cara in that movie made me think exactly the same thing. She’s gorgeous, but also demonstrates very effectively that an actor is a craftsman, a skilled worker, and not just someone playing “let’s pretend”.
Here’s the thing: it doesn’t require “belief” to understand that climate change is real, because it is. Climate change deniers need to believe. The rest of us have evidence, and know.
“American voters’ second choice (of two), Donald Trump...”
This is beautiful!
I think the extraordinary lengths Trump supporters go to defend the indefensible might not be cognitive dissonance so much as the creeping realization that they’ve been sold a bill of goods (the exact one the rest of us predicted), but are too embarrassed to ever admit it.
Came here to make exactly that point! It’s going to be like a massive Russian doll with poison at its centre.
...people are asking questions...
Agree - Bhodi is about to jump out from behind the boxes for a classic heroic last stand.
I haven’t seen the movie, but a very long time ago, I did read The Marching Morons, by C. M. Kornbluth - seems like he should get a credit somewhere!

I did that once, when I was twelve. And my English teacher wrote on my notebook: “Read this sentence out loud.” Very instructive.
Love the look of this movie, but that scene is ridiculous. The only thing that can explain his ability to pull a helicopter down from the sky is that he’s too heavy for a helicopter to lift. He can never travel in one again. And any journeys moviegoers thought they saw in the past are clearly just continuity errors…
To point out the simple matter of fact the British have a massive socially systemic problem with other peoples is as objectively accurate as to point out that even today large quarters of them are rancidly classist, viewing everything beneath the gentry like townies or council estate kids as subhuman slime.
Are they hinting at the end that she changes sides, or is that deliberate misdirection in the trailer?
And not the equivalent salary. His actual salary. Given that he knew that Elliot had been accused of sexual assault five times already before this happened.
I think this is Quicksilver running as the ground of the mansion splits beneath him in flame.
I’ve always preferred wormholes for exactly this reason. Even the downloading of personalities and back again a la Takeshi Kovacs has the same problem.
I just found myself on Olivia Munn’s Twitter feed (don’t judge me) and it turns out that Bryan Singer welcomed her to the cast by saying that they’ve found their Betsy Braddock. So the name, at least, is out there.
Magic goo, or nanotech?
This could be explained by Ren’s attempt at reading her mind backfiring.
