Is it wrong that I miss Hersh? I also miss Anthony. Seriously POI writers, Anthony is enough death for this season, please let Samaritan keep Shaw alive for cover-identity-understanding purposes. Just long enough for Team Machine to save her. kthnxbai

Fusco is far more savvy than most of the POI characters believe, and recognises that ignorance really is bliss in this situation. It also makes him hilariously fantastic, e.g. when dealing with DEA Martine.

Wasn't really a Deus Ex if you think about it - the simulation never had time to sufficiently far to estimate what Shaw would do if she wasn't in police custody, and Shaw had been a bit of a grumpy-poo lately about not getting any real action. So it made sense that she'd seek Team Machine out if she could - it's just

Carter figured it out in The Crossing - she even gets a yellow box when The Machine looks at the video feed of her death (e.g. the beginning of Lethe).

I only realised how fabulous the soundtrack was when I was binge watching Seasons 1 to 3 recently. Am glad I realised though, because this episode's soundtrack was perfect.

No, The Machine did try to call at the time. Remember that Finch was across the street to collect Reese, and the payphone rang. The difference between then and now is Root - and the direct connection between The Machine and its "assets".

I loved the discussion of how powerful the queen was, and once the concept of sacrifice was brought up, suspected it was an analogy/eulogy to Shaw - even through the Machine didn't consider Shaw as backup and thus Shaw's actions were completely her own.

I can understand Samaritan "saving" her for now - especially as they're not exactly sure how Team Machine were able to elude detection, and want to know how it was done. At least, that's what I'm hoping for!

He's still not selling evil to me. :( He smiles and I just can't see him as evil! *sigh* So I currently see him as a genius child-man who plays with things, occasionally affects timelines, happens to kill people, and now happens to have the yellow Reverse Flash suit in his secret mancave.

His clothes! THAT'S why he didn't want to give up Noah!

I thought he laughed because he was doing such a "normal" thing in a world that perhaps really has no place for religion anymore - as if he was laughing at himself for the ridiculous situation he was in.

GIG GUY.

I think he thought Michonne and Carl (and the whole group) were crazy, so he left… and discovered that the hunters were Bible-reading folk like himself, and that they were responsible for Bob's leg. I think it was then that he realised the world HAD gone to the dogs…

I started laughing when Michonne told Maggie that they found Beth.

I thought that after giving Noah a hug she was going to hug Dawn and THEN kill her with the scissors. Ah well…

The Hunters made the markings so they could find their way back to Terminus - I can't remember when Gareth said so (whether it was to Bob, or later when they were in the church but not yet ambushed).

The way she spoke to Carol at the end of the last episode, about wanting her (Carol) to know that she (Beth) was there, really made me feel as if Beth had already decided that she may not be around when Carol woke.

But that doesn't make sense based on his Dear Diary entries where he has only just realised that Barry's love of helping people is what helps him develop his powers.

Nope, I think it fits with my idea of him being very insecure. I think Beth is someone he thinks he can relate to and win over because she's so sweet - he just doesn't realise that there's a lot more to her than wide eyed looks (much like the rest of hospital residents, except perhaps for Noah).

Best line of the night.
