The way that loot boxes were implemented in Overwatch 1 was honestly better than what they have now.

I think it’s smart of Nintendo to use a new name so that they can market it as another Zelda game. Zelda fans are going to buy the game regardless how it’s called, but casual gamers may feel intimidated to pick up a game that is a sequel.

Umm... I understood that comment different. I thought that she had received the script and that she chose to read how the sex scenes were to decide if she wanted to play the role or not. It’s not that the show gave her the sex scene first.

The author doesn’t know what she’s talking about on this article. She’s blaming the narrative on “Western visions of Asian people” but the article doesn’t have a single mention of Akira Kurosawa who was the main influence for the creators. She should go and watch Seven Samurai and tell us how Ghost of Tsushima’s

“had them on a shelf for a decade” and “ended up being wasted money”?? WTF... that’s the most contradictory thing I’ve heard in a while!

And this is why we don’t see more people of color as lead protagonists...

Exactly. I was thinking: wow… why did it take so long to bring Sora if they have Cloud, Snake, Ryu, Persona 5’s Joker? And then the answer came immediately: Disney.

There’s a few things here that are related to gacha culture.

Umm... it seems you misunderstood the story. Suzuki and LiSA had been married for some time now. That’s not what caused the problem.

I always thought that Nihon was the more modern pronunciation and that Nippon was associated with the pre-WWII era. So that some people may choose to use Nippon just because they have more conservative views. However, it seems I was mistaken, based on what you have described here.

This is not about customers, it’s about the investors. Nintendo doesn’t want it’s investors to get all happy about making $40 in revenue for each OLED model being sold if that’s not true, since that would end up hurting their stock value if it ends up not being true. It’s not about being a fanboy or whatever, it’s

Fellow weirdo here. I was playing Red Mage without much issues. Once you get used to it, it’s actually great just sitting back with a controller instead of bent over a keyboard and mouse. Makes gaming feel too much like work.

A movie franchise can be based on an established source material AND also be its own thing. See: almost every superhero movie ever made (which one could argue also includes James Bond’s films).

Imagine that... Paying for a game and then having to play the game to unlock stuff on the game! Crazy, right?

Arcades Revenge is bad, but it was my first Spiderman game. So I'm a bit sad it was left out.

You don’t need tracking to advertise. Newspapers, radio, tv and the early Internet did it. It’s personalized ads that require tracking. So really the tracking business is really more about selling your info rather than having ads in your website and apps.

That’s interesting. I’ve been playing it in my laptop and it looks and run very well at 1080p. No 60fps, but still very good for me. Maybe it was develop with PC as a target?

So is this a “demaster”?

I don’t know. I get that some people hate RoS, but that video made it seems like the original script was a messy anti-climatic story. I’m glad they decided to change it. I think it had some good ideas that fell short in the end.

I think Tim Rogers from Kotaku mentioned on one of his videos that even though Midgar was less than a third of total gameplay it accounted for about a third of the total dialogue in the game. That’s why I’m betting on a trilogy.
