I'm not going to stand up for any of the rest of his entire filmography, but you should absolutely watch The Nice Guys.

He’s letting his Boston come out these days. It didn’t used to be so prominent. I'm guessing he got rid of it when he was less than incredibly famous.

Its choreography is fantastic, especially that scene where Joan Cusack is trying to get the tape to the production booth.

Personally prefer the Stones. Holds up better. Beatles sound like oldies, Stones fit in with classic 70s like Queen, Fleetwood, ect.. I’m likely in the minority there.

seems like this is too long after the show’s big heyday but i’m sure fans won’t mind. i enjoyed the show so i’ll probably watch on dvd some day but it’s just a gentle, comforting couple of hours for a rainy afternoon.

Huh? I saw it as “aliens don’t understand human traffic laws” joke

I too like tearing down beautiful, successful, famous women who will never have sex with me.

Pop culture has been terrible since invention of spoken language, you fucking sellout!

If you ask me, pop culture has been on a downward slide ever since we abandoned oral traditions revolving around creation myths in favor of narratives communicated via language represented through symbols and signs recorded to physical mediums like stone and parchment.

It is a fantastic piece of writing. There are few genres I dislike more than “the price of fame”-type profiles, which tend to wallow in despair or seem exploitative, but this one was thoughtful, humane, and showed real sympathy for its subject.

“a lengthy description of Fraser rescuing a horse from the set of a History Channel series and bringing it back to his farm in upstate New York as a companion for his autistic son”

I’ve always found him incredibly endearing. He’s like a human puppy dog.

He was amazing in Scrubs. If you want to see someone be hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time, then watch his episodes.

The whole profile in which this appears is insanely poignant. That this isn’t the most compelling point is a testament to that piece.
