Was he in a pie? I hope he wasn’t curate; he’d be too bland. Or a fiddle player; it would be too stringy.

“No elf has ever returned; not even Return-O!”
I’ve cancelled their service 3 times now. The second time, they had reactivated my account without my consent, so I had to cancel again. But I never got a confirmation email. I tried cancelling again, still nothing. What I’m going to do is change the bank card on file to a Visa giftcard, then immediately spend it…
I’m surprised I’m the first to mention eggs in a basket (or toad in a hole or whatever you want to call it). Cut a hole in that toast, stick it in the fat, and crack an egg inside the hole. Fry the circle along with everything and don’t forget the cheese!
One of my favorite YouTube channels about Japanese life and rules is MyHusbandisJapanese. https://www.youtube.com/user/MyHusbandisJapanese They’re a cute couple and it’s a fun channel.
My high school had a home ec class. Most of my classmates had no basic cooking skills and were amazed when I knew that 3 teaspoons equals a tablespoon. We had sewing, home decorating, and learned basic recipes. There was a petition to allow boys to allow boys to take it, too, which went into effect the next year.
This is why I like to do cooking projects with my preschoolers. They measure and mix ingredients to make something they can actually eat. Our pizza didn’t turn out so well, but we’ve made ice cream, stone soup, and yeast rolls besides some no-cook recipes like wraps.
It was all right. Not one I’d see again.
Watch the movie “Ingrid Goes West.” It dresses down “social media influencers” fairly handily while also being the story of a girl with a mental illness.
This was funny 4 years ago. Why would you show me this in the main feed? Why?
Extra History, from the same guys that did Extra Credits? I’m sold! Crash Course looks really fun, too; I’ll have to check them out.
How about Buttershots? We still have some from when we made Butterbeer.
We have enough for a couple of months of bills before we really have to worry, so I’d say that’s enough.
Reminds me of the shrimp cocktail in Black Sheep:
One lady you should contact is Michele Rivest. She’s the head of the NC Childcare Coalition and taught the workshop that got me interested in advocacy. She always has an advocacy setup at the NCAEYC Conference to encourage teachers to speak their mind. If it’s really something you’re passionate about, she’d have lots…
I love the way Kimmy Schmidt handled it. Titus lived in a food desert and got scurvy.
And if you do declare it, make sure it’s visible. When we got back to the US from Spain, my SO and I were amazed how intimidating US customs was compared to international airports. And we’re American! So we’d brought back some wine, cider, and chorizo from Spain because it was cheap and we love it. When it came time…
Corn bread. Fry some corn pones in it or put a tablespoon of melted bacon fat in your corn bread mix instead of oil. It’s heavenly.
I have a go-to recipe for ribs from a local restaurant’s cookbook. It involves mixing together ketchup, apple cider vinegar, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, and red pepper. Mix the sauce together, put it in a shallow baking pan, then put boiled ribs into it and bake it, basting every so often. It’s…
