Mebane, NC. I paid about $730 for a one-bedroom apartment that was 750 sq. ft. It was actually one of the cheaper apartments in town. At least it was right next the post office...that was never open when I needed it.

0. Never played it; never going to. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some building to do in Landmark and crime solving in "The Wolf Among Us."

Dangit, Kotaku! Why must you tempt me! You know I have no money.

I don't try to sidestep work (at least, not consciously) but I work better with a deadline. Deadlines tell me the work's important; if I don't have one, my brain tells me it must not be that important. I've had to hack my life and give myself deadlines sometimes, but I usually have a good idea of how long the task

I've always been a terrible procrastinator. One time in college, I thought I'd get ahead with a paper because I knew I had a lot to do. When the due date came, I panicked. "I forgot to do the paper!" I thought. That night, I found it in my bookbag and turned it in the next day. Late.

I keep hearing that, but it didn't work for me. I used a paste of baking soda and vinegar to get rid of ours. It had the added effect of making that baseboard really clean!

It's a huge deal for me! This past weekend I got the wrong order at a really busy restaurant. I *almost* didn't say anything, but I told myself, "No, I really do want what I actually ordered and it's this lady's job to make sure it's right." I felt so much better afterwards and enjoyed my meal a lot more!

TeachersPayTeachers and TeachersNotebook. They're sites for teachers with content created by teachers. The newsletters offer freebies (from a pool of user-submitted content), advance notice of promotions, and general news that doesn't appear on the site.

Apparently this reader has great taste in books, too!

The first car I ever bought was a stick. My mom told me that we could switch cars until I got used to it. Unfortunately, the city we lived in was full of hills. Every day, we had to drive up 2 giant hills to get home. I stalled out so many times, but eventually I got it. Combine that with highways without on-ramps,

I'd love to see the slideshow, but only got through #6 because of a giant contact form that won't go away.

No wonder her eye's closed; the ceiling's dripping syrup again.

Grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches are pure heaven. Especially if you fry the bananas first.

Usually, I make a big batch of pancake mix and attach the recipe to it. Then, when I'm ready to make my pancakes, I splash some lemon juice in my milk to make buttermilk.

Postal Service Clerk. Yes! I'll go quit my preschool teaching position right now and go work at the post office. Although it would have better hours and pay.
