I think part of this is that they're not animating every element of a scene. Usagi's hair and mouth might move, for example, while her head, eyes, and eyebrows tend to stay still. It also looks like they didn't bother to animate in between frames sometimes, so her hair, for example, jumps back and forth from one

Usagi was always high pitched and occasionally shrill (especially when crying or arguing with Rei or Chibiusa), but the reboot is taking it to another level. Kotono is trilling a lot of her dialogue for some reason, which she didn't do before.

Honestly… While most of the artwork (particularly the backgrounds, and indeed, some of the character designs) is lovely, the animation itself seems quite poor to me. I don't know what the frame rate was here, but there are some parts where the animation feels quite jittery, and others where they only bothered to

The original Batman (1989) also has an Academy Award for Best Art Direction/Set Decoration.

@strideo: I was being facetious. That's why my second paragraph began with, "[But] in all seriousness."

@redeye: if someone told me they were fired for leaving an airplane on an inflatable slide, I'd hire them on the spot.

@mipsy6: again, this is all speculation since I'm not a lawyer, but I would imagine that if he sued for defamation or libel or what have you, it'd be a pretty weak legal case because:

@Pantra: No, for a 13-year-old boy it'd be a celebrated rite of passage and he'd end up getting praised for having such great game.

@1.1.1.: I mean, to play devil's advocate, I'd argue that it's precisely because Polanski is a public figure and that it is so easy to fact-check what he's pleaded guilty to that it's irresponsible journalism for the media to get it "so" wrong.

@Pantra: I'm not sure the reason he's not getting roasted is because he's an older man and she was a young girl. I think it's just because he's a famous director.

I think the point Whoopi was trying to make (and couldn't quite articulate) was that if the ladies were to discuss the case on-air, they needed to keep their asses covered from the threat of a libel suit and be cognizant of what specific crimes and allegations they levy against Polanski on TV.
