You may not realize it but the complaint made against you was the best thing that could have happened.

Ya city is only enforcing the complaints-  it’s your neighbors that hate your cars!

Aw I just realized this is all a prelude to you getting the hell away from G/O Media isn’t it

Wow, I live here and I’m not even confident in answering your question.

I know the place your mind is set on

Come on, it’s not just the city that hates them. Your neighbors, your significant other, the environment....  We appreciate you though.

Not thinking- that’s called foreshadowing. The plot thickens. Please just not Manhattan or LA.

Does Michigan require some minimum level of insurance for all registered vehicles?

You may not realize it but the complaint made against you was the best thing that could have happened.

If he comes to north Texas I wouldn’t report him if he were my neighbor. Plus, rust isn’t really a thing here so it might be a nice change of pace for him.

should I decide to leave metro Detroit soon.

Not that it matters much, but I am thoroughly impressed with the progress that you’ve made. I hope that with the sale of the XJ you will find some way to pick up (no pun intended) that Willy’s truck you posted about earlier in the week. That is something worth getting a hold of, who knows with the Golden Eagle and

I first encountered Daniel Stern online in the early-mid 1990s on usenet in either rec.autos.driving or rec.autos.tech or one of the more specialized groups in the rec.autos hierarchy. This was before the world wide web reached any sort of significant usage level. At that time if memory serves me correctly he was

Daniel Stern is THE man. He fabbed up a full main and high beam harness for my 89 Land Cruiser with majorly upgraded Hella lenses and upgraded Halogens. Before and after performance was staggering—before it was like driving down the road with 2 candles and after even on low beams I could see forever.

I wouldn’t take Stern’s word for much. From a practical standpoint, there are degrees of good and bad when it comes to aftermarket lighting upgrades. As a general rule, don’t attempt to upgrade reflector headlights. They just don’t control light well enough. Attempting to upgrade projector headlights is fine in my

Guys who lift it and put on 40s might not even need to regear.

I think your answer is the 34.7" tires. Thats a lotta tire.

4.70 Axle ratio? The hell? Why would you need a 4.70 with a 10 speed or even a 6 speed + crawler? Especially with a turbo engine that will develop plenty of torque? That seems excessive. Even on 35 MT’s and a manual it doesn’t make a lot of sense. I suspect the standard axle is the 3.73 with the 10 speed, the 7 speed

Just imagine, if the media didn’t make a big deal about OJ’s birthday (which I promise you, was unintentional. That’s giving us WAAAAYYY too much credit), we’d be seeing the Bronco TODAY. Now we have to wait until Monday...

So, if I’m reading this right, after three weeks, you still, technically, have all your cars? With one sold.
