The show is much too fun to give it a D+. It isn't supposed to be frigging Shakespeare. It is what it is…. escapist genre TV. I think I'm gonna have to give your "D+" a D+.

You would call the hospital and the cops immediately, but not in that order. You wouldn't just stare from a distance, make a saddy-sad scared face, and move on, like this woman did.

The sick wife part at least drove home the reason for the character's villainous move, but the whole family drama aspect, such as the one with the main character, only works when the people involved are the same ones involved in the main thrust of the show's action, i.e. Fringe. The family scenes feel so disjointed…
