The difference is the children. Fringe has Peter, an ADULT, dealing with his father. These annoying kids just plain suck. The whole Disney family bullcrap just sucks so very, very much. Least common denominator junk, basically.

DEFINITELY stick with it. The shows gets absolutely awesome, especially season 2 and season 3. Babylon 5 was such a well-written show.
Babylon 5 ?
I'd get behind it.
I absolutely LOVE the show. Can't wait for the next episode tomorrow night.
The title sequence has a Nine Inch Nails vibe to it.
The show was great. Totally not getting all the negativity about it. Weird.
The unhinged boy's plan was probably to do more than just sit in the chair and laugh at the girl. He and the girlfriend were flicking the lights off, also, to scare her. He was probably going to grab her from behind to frighten her, but certainly not cut her face.
Weird scratchy grandma troll? I think it had more of a scary clown-baby vibe.
Actually, they also said "cock sucker," showed the word "taint" and showed lots of Dylan McDermott's awesome ass and showed him jerking off from the back.
This show is all sorts of AWESOME.
Loved that they finally left the "bottle" on this show. Seeing characters actually somewhere outside of Mystic Falls or its immediate surroundings was great. It was refreshing to see Stefan and Klaus in Chicago.
They NEVER should have killed off Bonnie's grandmother. She was an awesome character. Imagine if Bonnie had been the one off'd at the witch's tomb below the church and the grandmother had survived. The show would have been even better than it already is.
I'm not following what you're saying, exactly. You mean witches would have been part of some undercover operation whereby they allowed themselves to be slaves for some reason? Can you clarify a bit? Thanks !!!
The ONLY complaint I have about this very well-done show is how the characters are always having these huge parties or going to town events. It strains credulity. What town has a budget set aside for this many gargantuan, over-produced, over-the-top festivals?
Bottom line…
There's no way to prove or disprove something that isn't able to be tested by the scientific method, therefore there's no way to prove or disprove the existence of a supreme being.
Fucking cripple? Wow. Stay classy.
Oops, "niece's" should have been "nieces."
I was totally expecting Esther to walk into her sister's house, and find her niece's had been murdered by their mother. Murdered, but still walking around like everything was fine, only with bullet-hole marks on their foreheads, or bulging eyes from a bathtub drowning.
Absolutely spot-on comment. Even though Torchwood was always a bit more mature, if you will, it's Doctor Who "DNA" was always clearly apparent. This level of realism, this action/procedural format, has absolutely very little in common with the Doctor Who universe.
